Welcome to Our School
Fordingbridge is a historic town situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire. The school serves the whole community by offering two classes in each year group. Our aim is to ensure that Fordingbridge Infant School is a warm and welcoming environment where all members of the school community feel safe, secure and valued. This enables all children to reach their full potential emotionally, academically, physically and spiritually.
We want all children in our care to become learners in the truest sense of the word. As infant children they are naturally enthusiastic, energetic and full of fun but, above all, they are curious about the world around them. We aim to harness their natural curiosity and to develop it into a love of learning which will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
We would like to invite you to come and meet us and look round the school.
Fordingbridge Infant School and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.
