As of September 2014, all Infant aged children are entitled to a free school meal. We are very fortunate to be able to offer freshly prepared hot meals at lunchtimes. There is always a vegetarian option and specific dietary requirements can usually be met. These meals are provided by H3CS.

Alternatively children can bring their own packed lunch to school, we encourage their packed lunch to be balanced and healthy, please see the information for guidance below.

During lunchtimes the children are supervised by Lunchtime Supervisors. They encourage the children to eat all their meal and are happy to monitor the amount eaten if requested.

The lunch hour is organised with three sittings, Year R are seated first followed by Year 1 and Year 2.  During the summer months Year 2 children enjoy eating their lunch outside if they are having a packed lunch. .

If your child is late for registration they must report to the school office to ensure a lunch is ordered for them. However if your child arrives at school after 10 30 am a packed lunch will need to be provided by you.

Activities to encourage the children to be active are on offer every day. We have quiet areas for reading and drawing and a fairy garden for the children to explore. For children who are feeling unsure of what to do we have a  ‘Buddy Bus’ and ‘Playground Buddies’ who are on hand to help.
