Our Aim

“To prepare all children for the challenges of a rapidly changing world by developing respect, independence and self-esteem in a happy, caring and supportive environment.”

Our Vision

Fordingbridge Infant School will be a place of happiness, respect and security, where all children feel good about the unique characteristics that they possess. We aim to develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime and to enable all pupils not only to become independent but also aware and responsive to those around them i.e. to develop the skills to lead and work effectively in a team.

All the adults involved will be expected to support and extend children’s learning and other attributes through a comprehensive use of their own skills (developing them as appropriate) and by encouragement and celebration of success, however small.

Our Vision at FIS

Promoting British Values

In 2011, the Government defined British Values as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs. These values are promoted through our school ethos, a broad and balanced curriculum and a variety of enrichment opportunities.
